Full Job Description

Arizona Colorectal Experts is looking to hire an office manager to join our growing practice.

We are looking for a hardworking motivated individual with strong billing and revenue cycle management experience.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the medical office, ensuring smooth and efficient workflow

- Handle billing and insurance claims processing, ensuring accuracy and timely reimbursement
- Manage and supervise office staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
- Develop and implement office policies and procedures to maintain compliance with industry regulations
- Coordinate patient scheduling and ensure timely appointments
- Maintain accurate medical records and ensure confidentiality of patient information
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient care and outcomes
- Monitor inventory levels of medical supplies and equipment, and place orders as needed
- Implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient satisfaction and office efficiency

Skills:
- Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems. Our practice uses Athenahealth
- Knowledge of managed care principles and utilization management processes
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, staff, and healthcare providers
- Attention to detail and accuracy in maintaining medical records and handling billing processes
- Familiarity with surgical practice is a plus
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, adapt to changes, and make sound decisions
