Full Job Description

Spa Manager

Pay: $29.00–$33.00 per hour, depending on experience
Job Type: Full-time nights,weekends and day shift

Inspire Day Spa and New Serenity Spa are looking for an experienced Spa Manager to oversee daily operations, lead the team, maintain company standards, and support the continued financial growth of the spa.

The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, confident in handling employee and guest concerns, and able to follow through without repeated direction. This is a hands-on leadership position that requires strong communication, accountability, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily spa operations and ensure the location remains organized, professional, and guest-ready.
Lead, coach, and hold employees accountable for attendance, performance, policies, and workplace conduct.
Manage schedules, callouts, coverage needs, time-off requests, and staffing concerns.
Recruit, interview, onboard, train, and develop new and existing employees.
Handle guest complaints and employee concerns calmly, professionally, and promptly.
Maintain consistent communication with the Spa Director and ownership.
Complete required reports, documentation, evaluations, and follow-up items on time.
Monitor rebooking, retail sales, memberships, upgrades, guest retention, and missed opportunities.
Set measurable goals that support employee development and spa revenue growth.
Oversee inventory, supplies, linens, equipment, facility needs, and product usage.
Ensure parties, bridal groups, packages, and special events are properly booked and managed.
Enforce company policies consistently across all departments.
Protect guest, employee, and company information by maintaining confidentiality.
Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. (retail inventory, linen bags, and spa supplies).
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the workday.
Must be able to bend, reach, kneel, and move throughout the spa to support daily operations.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment and assisting with operational tasks as needed.

Qualifications

Previous management experience in a spa, salon, hospitality, retail, wellness, or service-based business.
Experience supervising employees, creating schedules, managing callouts, and addressing performance concerns.
Strong leadership, communication, organization, and conflict-resolution skills.
Comfortable coaching employees on sales, guest service, rebooking, and accountability.
Able to work independently while keeping senior leadership informed.
Experience with Booker or a similar scheduling and point-of-sale system is preferred.
Spa industry experience is preferred but not required for candidates with strong relevant management experience.

Schedule Requirements

Full-time availability.
Evening and weekend availability is required.
Must be available during high-volume days, holidays, trainings, and special events.
May be required to assist at either spa location based on business needs.

Compensation

$29.00–$33.00 per hour, depending on experience.

Final pay will be based on management experience, leadership ability, spa or hospitality experience, and overall qualifications.
