Marketech International Corporation USA is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Electrical Engineer to support electrical design review, BIM coordination, construction coordination, and project execution for water, UPW, semiconductor, high-tech, and industrial construction projects.
This role is responsible for reviewing electrical designs, coordinating 3D models, supporting clash detection, and working closely with engineers, BIM designers, subcontractors, QA/QC teams, and field teams to support accurate and efficient project execution. The Electrical Engineer will help ensure electrical scopes are coordinated across multiple work areas and aligned with project specifications, installation requirements, schedules, and applicable codes.
The ideal candidate has an electrical design background, experience using Revit and CAD, strong project-coordination skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced construction environment. Experience supporting semiconductor, water treatment, DI water, UPW, cleanroom, MEP, or industrial facility projects is highly preferred.
- Develop, review, and support electrical designs using Revit 3D, AutoCAD, and related design-review tools.
- Review electrical drawings, 3D models, layouts, and design packages to ensure accuracy, completeness, constructability, and alignment with project requirements.
- Coordinate with BIM designers, engineers, and project teams to confirm model updates, drawing revisions, redlines, and design changes.
- Support the preparation and review of electrical layouts, construction drawings, schedules, details, and related technical documentation.
- Review P&IDs, PFDs, equipment layouts, and process documentation as needed to cross-check electrical design requirements and system interfaces.
- Help ensure electrical models and drawings accurately reflect approved design intent, field conditions, installation sequencing, and project standards.
- Maintain organized electrical design files, revisions, drawing logs, and coordination records throughout the project lifecycle.
- Coordinate with engineers, project managers, subcontractors, electrical contractors, vendors, QA/QC teams, and field personnel to support electrical project execution.
- Communicate with contractors regarding electrical scope clarification, design requirements, construction sequencing, installation needs, and schedule impacts.
- Participate in project meetings, construction meetings, design-review meetings, and sequencing meetings for electrical scope coordination.
- Coordinate with mechanical, process, structural, plumbing, controls, and other project disciplines regarding interface requirements and work sequence.
- Support construction-phase coordination to ensure electrical work remains aligned with approved drawings, technical requirements, project schedules, and client standards.
- Assist field teams by providing current electrical drawings, coordinated model information, technical clarifications, and documentation support.
- Identify project risks, installation constraints, field conflicts, and design concerns, and coordinate practical solutions with the appropriate stakeholders.
- Coordinate clash-detection activities and identify electrical conflicts, discrepancies, clearance issues, and constructability concerns within BIM models.
- Review model conflicts involving electrical systems, cable trays, conduits, equipment, supports, utilities, structural elements, and other building systems.
- Report electrical scope issues, model conflicts, drawing discrepancies, and coordination concerns to internal teams, BIM teams, subcontractors, and project leadership.
- Assist in resolving clashes and design-coordination issues through collaboration with engineers, designers, contractors, and field teams.
- Support QA/QC coordination related to electrical design, construction documentation, field installation, and project compliance.
- Help ensure electrical models, drawings, specifications, and related documentation are accurate, current, organized, and aligned with project standards.
- Participate in quality reviews and support corrective actions related to electrical design or installation issues.
- Support oversight of electrical scopes across multiple work areas and assist with reviewing electrical engineering work quality.
- Serve as a primary coordination contact for electrical contractors, BIM teams, QA/QC personnel, subcontractors, and other project stakeholders.
- Monitor progress related to electrical design, model coordination, drawing review, field installation, and project execution.
- Track outstanding electrical action items, design changes, coordination issues, and required follow-up activities.
- Support schedule awareness by identifying electrical design or coordination issues that may affect installation sequencing, procurement, or project milestones.
- Assist with issue resolution by identifying risks, coordinating stakeholder input, and helping drive practical, timely solutions.
- Identify opportunities to improve electrical design coordination, BIM workflows, model quality, documentation practices, and project execution.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Electrical design background with experience supporting electrical drawings, layouts, models, or construction documentation.
- Experience using Revit 3D and CAD for design review, model coordination, drafting, or drawing review.
- Previous experience supporting electrical design, BIM coordination, construction coordination, MEP projects, or industrial facility projects.
- Strong project coordination and project-management skills.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, 3D models, construction documentation, P&IDs, PFDs, specifications, and technical documents.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
- Ability to coordinate effectively with contractors, subcontractors, engineering teams, QA/QC personnel, BIM teams, and field teams.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify design, model, documentation, or coordination issues.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, revisions, coordination comments, and deadlines in a fast-paced project environment.
- Experience supporting semiconductor, high-tech, industrial, water treatment, DI water, UPW, cleanroom, MEP, or mission-critical facility projects.
- Experience working on or supporting active construction sites.
- Knowledge of NEC, UL, NEMA, and applicable electrical code or industry requirements.
- Experience coordinating with QA/QC teams, BIM teams, electrical contractors, subcontractors, and field construction teams.
- Experience with Navisworks, BIM 360, Autodesk Construction Cloud, Bluebeam, or other BIM and construction-coordination platforms.
- Familiarity with electrical power distribution, low-voltage systems, controls, utility systems, process-support equipment, or facility infrastructure.
- Experience supporting clash detection, model reviews, installation planning, construction sequencing, or as-built documentation.
- Bilingual English/Mandarin Chinese communication skills are a plus, but not required.

This role may involve a combination of office-based electrical design review, BIM coordination, project meetings, and active project-site support. The Electrical Engineer may work closely with engineering teams, BIM designers, electrical contractors, subcontractors, QA/QC personnel, vendors, and field teams supporting semiconductor, water, UPW, and industrial facility projects.
The position requires the ability to manage shifting project priorities, respond to time-sensitive coordination needs, maintain accurate technical documentation, and collaborate effectively across multiple disciplines in a fast-paced construction and engineering environment.
