Setter — Exterior Sales **High Earning Potential**

Phoenix East Valley, AZ | Hourly Non-Exempt (W-2) | Full-Time

About Us & The Opportunity

Tycho Solutions is a Phoenix-based construction company serving communities across the East Valley. We specialize in exterior remodeling including roofing, windows, HVAC, solar, painting, and custom construction. We are licensed, bonded, and insured (ROC #364735). The Setter role is a genuine opportunity for anyone willing to put in the work. You do not need a perfect resume or years of experience. What you need is the drive to show up, the willingness to learn, and the desire to grow. We invest in our people, promote from within, and give our team the tools to build a real career here.

The Setter is the front line of our entire sales organization. Setters generate leads, qualify homeowners, conduct inspections, and fill the pipeline for our Closers across every service line. Right now roofing is the immediate focus and windows is next, but as the company grows, so does your scope. We need someone who executes at a high level today and adapts as priorities shift. No prior trade experience required — we train you. What we can’t train is drive.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain consistent daily door activity and homeowner conversations necessary to achieve appointment and performance goals
Engage homeowners, build rapport, and introduce Tycho Solutions services
Learn to perform basic exterior and roofing assessments, document findings with photos, and gather information to support homeowner consultations and project recommendations. Full training is provided.
Set 2–4 qualified appointments per day; coordinate clean hand-offs to the Closer
Reset all inspection areas and leave every property exactly as found
Log all activity in the CRM (JobNimbus / Sales Rabbit) and attend weekly team check-ins
Represent Tycho Solutions professionally in the field at all times

Performance Benchmarks

DOORS/DAY: 120+

APPTS SET / DAY: 2 avg

RUN RATE: 50–60%

CLOSES / MONTH: 8 avg

Qualifications

Must be 18 years of age or older
Ability to work outdoors full-time in Arizona heat and access rooftops safely via ladder
Comfortable with cold door-knocking and in-person homeowner conversations
Reliable transportation within the East Valley; valid driver’s license with clean DMV record
Pass a pre-employment background and DMV Screening
Prior D2D sales, canvassing, solar, or home services experience is a plus, as is CRM familiarity and bilingual ability (English/Spanish)

Compensation & Benefits

This is a W-2 position with a base hourly rate of $18–$25 per hour plus performance-based bonuses with uncapped earning potential. High performers are recognized and rewarded with increased responsibility, leadership opportunities, and higher earning potential as they advance.

As Tycho grows, so does the benefits package. Health insurance and additional perks are on the roadmap. Early team members will be first in line when those roll out.

Location, Screening & How to Apply

Territories are assigned within a 25–35 minute commute of our East Valley office (Gilbert, Chandler, Mesa, Maricopa, Scottsdale and surrounding areas). Carpooling is available and a company vehicle program is in development. Field hours follow seasonal schedules: Summer 11:30 AM – 7:30 PM | Winter 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM.

All candidates undergo a pre-employment background and DMV screening. Criminal history is reviewed on an individualized basis considering the nature of the offense, time elapsed, and its relevance to the role. Tycho Solutions complies with all applicable fair chance hiring laws.
