We seek a Lead Pharmacy Technician to support all functions of the Genoa mental health and specialty pharmacy primarily through dispensing medical prescriptions and performing necessary clerical duties while under the direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist.
Hours: Monday through Friday with 8-hour shifts between the hours of 8:00am-5:00pm with lunch from 12:00pm to 1:00pm
Location: 1035 E Jefferson St. Suite P1 Phoenix, AZ 85034
Primary Responsibilities:

Interpret prescriptions, create order access/input/retrieve Rx information, and verify reimbursement eligibility

Is considered the site expert and leader; Person for the site provides employee training/shadowing and support for career success

Process prior authorizations and complex site matters.

Review team stats and provide feedback on individual and team progress (team leadership)

Ensure staff is informed on new processes and training info

Take escalated and/or supervisor calls
-
Provide exceptional customer service to all consumers and members of the clinic staff

Fills prescription orders and makes them available for verification under direct supervision of the Registered Pharmacist

Orders, receives and stores incoming pharmacy supplies

Receives and processes wholesaler medication orders
-
Verifies medication stock and enters data in computer to maintain inventory records

Works with the Pharmacist to assist in the pharmacy functions and keeping the pharmacy in compliance with all federal and state requirements

Performs various clerical duties relating to the department

Communicates with strong professional verbal and written communication skills

Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in the state of Arizona

National Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB)
-
3+ years of Pharmacy Technician experience

1+ years of multi-site and team training experience
-
Ability to work in a high-volume pharmacy setting supporting workflow and team execution

Ability to work onsite at 1035 E Jefferson St. Suite P1 Phoenix, AZ 85034, Monday through Friday with 8-hour shifts between the hours of 8:00am-5:00pm

Access to reliable transportation

The hourly pay for this role will range from $20 - $36 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
