Senior Audit Manager
Phoenix, AZ

Base Salary Up to $140,000 DOE
Hybrid Work Schedule

Must-Haves

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required
Active CPA license required
5+ years of public accounting audit experience required
Strong experience managing audits, reviews, and compilations
Experience preparing financial statements with full disclosures
Strong understanding of GAAP and GAAS
Working knowledge of GAGAS / Yellow Book standards
Experience supervising, reviewing, and mentoring accounting staff
Strong client relationship management and business development skills
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication abilities
Experience with financial statement audits, reviews, and compilations
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment

Our client, one of Arizona’s largest locally owned CPA and business advisory firms, is seeking an experienced Senior Audit Manager to join its growing team in Phoenix. This is an excellent opportunity for a public accounting professional looking to take on a high-visibility leadership role while working with a diverse client portfolio across multiple industries.

The ideal candidate will bring strong technical audit expertise, leadership capabilities, and the ability to manage both client relationships and engagement teams in a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage audits, reviews, and compilation engagements from planning through completion
Perform and oversee audit fieldwork and engagement execution
Prepare and review financial statements with full disclosures
Supervise, mentor, and review the work of accounting staff at various experience levels
Manage multiple client engagements while ensuring quality, efficiency, and compliance
Develop and strengthen long-term client relationships
Identify opportunities to provide additional advisory and accounting services to clients
Assist with engagement planning, scheduling, budgeting, and workflow management
Research and resolve accounting, audit, and financial reporting issues
Support firm growth initiatives and assist with administrative and operational functions as needed
