Job Summary
Frameworks Picture Framing Studio, a division of Bell Sports Marketing, is seeking a detail-oriented and creative CO2 Laser Operator & Production Designer to join our team. This role is primarily responsible for operating and maintaining our Epilog Fusion Pro 48 CO2 laser system, preparing artwork files, and producing high-quality engraved and cut products for custom framing, memorabilia, retail, and other projects.
The ideal candidate has experience with laser equipment, vector-based design software, production workflows, and hands-on fabrication. This position also supports custom framing and production operations as needed. Training will be provided.

Essential Job Functions
- Operate and maintain the Epilog Fusion Pro 48 50-Watt CO2 laser system
- Prepare, edit, and optimize artwork files for laser engraving and cutting
- Utilize CorelDRAW and related design software to create production-ready layouts
- Design custom engraved products, signage, plaques, acrylic pieces, branding elements, and specialty projects
- Ensure precise machine setup, material alignment, and quality control throughout production
- Troubleshoot minor machine, file, or material issues to maintain workflow efficiency
- Safely operate production equipment and tools
- Handle artwork, memorabilia, and customer materials with care and attention to detail
- Assist with custom framing and assembly projects as needed
- Maintain accurate inventory and material usage records
- Ensure all finished products meet company quality standards
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe production environment
- Assist with material sourcing, inventory management, and supply organization
- Other duties as assigned
Required Education, Skills, and Experience
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of 2 years of experience operating CO2 lasers, CNC equipment, print production equipment, sign fabrication equipment, or similar production machinery
- Experience with CorelDRAW or other vector-based design software
- Ability to balance creativity, efficiency, and production deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and production accuracy
- Ability to read measurements and work with precision
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently and manage production timelines
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment
- Basic computer proficiency
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
Preferred Skills and Experience
- Experience operating CO2 lasers, CNC equipment, print production equipment, sign fabrication equipment, or similar production machinery
- Experience with Epilog laser systems
- Experience with acrylic, wood, metal, leather, and specialty engraving materials
- Custom framing or art handling experience
- Retail, customer service, or creative production experience
- Strong verbal communication skills
Work Environment & Physical Demands
This position works primarily in a production and workshop environment. Physical demands include frequent standing, walking, lifting, carrying, reaching, and repetitive hand and wrist movements. Employee may occasionally lift up to 40 pounds.
