Director of Infrastructure and ERP
Location: Phoenix, AZ area (on-site required)

Position Overview
We are seeking a visionary, business-minded Director of Infrastructure and ERP (Director) to lead, transform, and oversee our entire IT function on-site at our Phoenix, Arizona facilities. Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), the Director will serve as a true strategic business partner. The Director will align our technology roadmap with overarching business goals, drive enterprise-wide automation, and foster a culture of digital innovation.
In this role, the Director will inherit an existing technology footprint, and have the mandate to evaluate our current managed service provider, modernize our ERP environment, strengthen cybersecurity and compliance, and drive enterprise-wide automation and data-driven decision making. This is a high-visibility leadership role for someone who excels at both strategic roadmap development and disciplined execution in a highly regulated manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
Qualifications & Experience
Strategic Leadership & Business Partnership
- Partner with Leadership: Serve as a trusted advisor to the CFO and executive leadership team, translating business goals into technology strategy and delivering measurable ROI.
- Drive Business Automation: Proactively evaluate company-wide workflows and spearhead the selection and implementation of modern automation tools to eliminate manual processes.
- Budget & ROI Management: Develop and manage the annual IT operating and capital expenditure (CAPEX/OPEX) budgets, ensuring high-value return on all technology investments.
- Champion a data-driven culture by expanding analytics capabilities across manufacturing, supply chain, engineering, sales, and financial operations.
ERP & Enterprise Systems Management
- Optimize ERP Environment: Own the strategy, optimization, integration, and continuous evolution of our Infor SyteLine / CloudSuite Industrial ERP platform.
- Process AlignmentEnsure ERP and supporting systems deliver accurate, real-time visibility into manufacturing workflows, inventory, costing, supply chain, and financial reporting.
- Drive integration projects that connect ERP with shop-floor systems, quality management, and business intelligence tools.
Compliance, Security & Risk Mitigation
- CMMC Implementation: Own the end-to-end strategic planning, execution, and continuous compliance management for Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC).
- ITAR Governance: Establish and enforce rigid technical controls to securely isolate and safeguard International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) controlled data.
- ISO Alignment: Maintain IT frameworks, document control, and systemic infrastructure to fully support ISO quality management audits.
- Cybersecurity Framework: Design, implement, and enforce robust cybersecurity policies, identity access management, and threat-detection protocols.
- Compliance & Recovery: Establish, maintain, and regularly test corporate Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery (BC/DR) plans.
Vendor & Infrastructure Management
- MSP Evaluation: Conduct a comprehensive audit of the current third-party IT managed service provider (MSP) to evaluate performance.
- Sourcing Strategy: Determine whether to optimize the current MSP relationship, transition to a new third-party partner, or selectively insource critical IT functions.
- On-Site Infrastructure: Oversee all physical plant network infrastructure, cloud operations, hardware procurement, and communication systems to ensure business uptime.
Required:
Experience & Education
- Work Location: Must be able to work 100% on-site at our Phoenix, AZ location (No remote or hybrid flexibility).
- Proven Leadership: 10+ years of progressive IT leadership experience (Director, Head of IT, or VP level) overseeing multi-disciplinary IT functions.
- Manufacturing Background: Prior technology leadership experience within a highly regulated manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Regulatory Expertise: Proven success leading CMMC implementation, ITAR data security, and ISO compliance programs is required.
- ERP Expertise: Strong familiarity with manufacturing ERP systems is preferred; direct experience with Infor SyteLine / CloudSuite Industrial (CSI) is an advantage.
- Vendor Management: Demonstrated success in auditing, managing, and negotiating contracts with third-party MSPs and software vendors.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Citizenship: Due to ITAR compliance requirements, the candidate must be a U.S. Person (U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident).
