Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and energetic In-Home Personal Care Provider Fluent in Cantonese to join our compassionate team. In this vital role, you will deliver exceptional in-home care services to individuals with diverse needs, including seniors, individuals with disabilities, and those requiring specialized support such as memory care or dementia care. Your enthusiasm and commitment will help clients live safely, comfortably, and with dignity.

Duties

Provide personal care assistance including bathing, grooming, dressing, and mobility support
Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as toileting, feeding, and medication reminders
Monitor patients’ health by taking vital signs and observing for any changes in condition
Support clients with meal preparation and light housekeeping to maintain a safe and clean environment
Use proper patient transfer methods and manual handling techniques, including Hoyer lifts when necessary
Administer medications following care plans while adhering to HIPAA regulations for patient privacy
Offer companionship and emotional support tailored to individual needs, including Alzheimer’s or dementia care

Experience

Prior experience working in group homes, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home health settings preferred
Knowledge of patient observation techniques and monitoring vital signs
Experience providing dementia care, memory care, or Alzheimer's support highly desirable
Familiarity with patient transfer methods such as Hoyer lifts and patient personal care assistance
Background in caregiving for individuals with neurodevelopmental or developmental disabilities
Ability to follow detailed care plans and administer medications accurately
Certification in CPR and First Aid required; additional certifications in hospice or geriatrics are a plus
Strong communication skills for effective client interaction and documentation compliance
