Full Job Description

Job Title: Postal Service Center Clerk

Location: Luke Air Force Base, Glendale, AZ

Job Type: Full-Time and Part-Time Positions Available

I-2-I Solutions, Inc. is seeking dependable and professional personnel to support Postal Service Center operations at Luke Air Force Base in Arizona.

The selected employees will assist with daily mailroom and postal support activities, including receiving, inspecting, sorting, distributing, and tracking incoming mail and packages for authorized personnel. The work also includes customer service at the Postal Service Center window, maintaining mail receptacles, processing general delivery mail, and supporting routine postal administrative tasks.

Primary responsibilities include:

Receive and process USPS, UPS, FedEx, and other incoming mail and packages
Inspect incoming mail for damage or suspicious items in accordance with established procedures
Sort and distribute letters, flats, parcels, and accountable mail
Scan and track accountable packages using Government-provided systems
Provide customer service at the Postal Service Center window
Process general delivery and directory mail
Maintain accurate mail and package accountability records
Assist with mailbox/receptacle combination changes and routine maintenance
Maintain a clean and professional work area
Follow Department of Defense, Air Force, and USPS postal procedures
Report postal discrepancies, losses, damaged mail, or suspicious items as required

Schedule:

Monday through Friday, generally between 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM.

We are seeking personnel for both:

Full-Time: approximately 40 hours per week

Part-Time: approximately 15 hours per week

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to communicate professionally with customers and Government personnel
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
Basic computer skills
Dependable attendance and punctuality
Ability to handle mail and packages throughout the workday
Must be able to successfully complete Government background screening and obtain access to Luke Air Force Base

Prior postal or mailroom experience is helpful but not required. The Government will provide the required postal orientation and training, and personnel will receive the required DD Form 285 postal appointment after completing the hiring and credentialing process.

Employees must maintain a professional appearance and comply with Luke Air Force Base security and access requirements.
