Position Overview
As a Regional Manager, you will oversee remote field operations, staffing, employee performance, and client relationships across multiple territories throughout the United States. The majority of employees within your region will work remotely and reside outside of Arizona, requiring strong communication, coaching, and leadership skills across geographically dispersed teams.
You will serve as the primary link between field teams and corporate leadership, ensuring service excellence, operational efficiency, compliance, and workforce stability. This role is responsible for scheduling oversight, coverage planning, employee development, account support, and regional performance management.

Key ResponsibilitiesOperational Leadership
- Oversee regional operations, staffing, scheduling, and coverage planning.
- Lead and support remote field employees across multiple states and geographic territories.
- Manage collector schedules, service interruptions, call-offs, and urgent staffing needs to ensure uninterrupted service.
- Monitor productivity, mileage, overtime, and operational performance metrics while identifying improvement opportunities.
- Maintain staffing levels and operational consistency across assigned territories.
- Implement process improvements that enhance efficiency, service quality, and team performance.
Team Leadership & Development
- Recruit, onboard, train, coach, and develop field employees.
- Provide consistent coaching, accountability, and support to remote employees working across multiple states.
- Maintain strong communication and engagement with geographically dispersed teams through regular meetings, performance discussions, and operational follow-up.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing feedback.
- Manage employee relations, corrective actions, performance improvement plans, and related documentation.
- Support employee engagement and retention initiatives to reduce turnover and maintain workforce stability.
- Partner with Human Resources on employee relations and performance management matters.
Client & Sales Partnership
- Build and maintain strong client, facility, and provider relationships.
- Collaborate with Sales Representatives to support account retention, service recovery, and growth opportunities.
- Participate in client escalations and ensure timely resolution of service concerns.
- Serve as a trusted operational resource for both clients and internal stakeholders.
Compliance & Reporting
- Ensure compliance with company policies, HIPAA requirements, and regulatory standards.
- Support audits, investigations, corrective actions, and quality initiatives.
- Maintain accurate operational records, employee documentation, and reporting.
- Prepare and communicate regional performance, staffing, and operational reports to leadership.
What We're Looking ForRequired Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Demonstrated experience in team leadership, workforce management, and operational oversight.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and business software systems.
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years of leadership experience in healthcare operations, laboratory services, field operations, mobile healthcare services, or phlebotomy management.
- Experience managing remote employees across multiple states and geographic territories.
- Experience overseeing healthcare staffing, scheduling, workforce planning, and operational performance metrics.
- Proven success recruiting, coaching, developing, and retaining employees in a remote or field-based environment.
- Knowledge of healthcare compliance, HIPAA, and quality management principles.
- Experience supporting client relationship management, account retention, and service recovery initiatives.
