About Texas Capital Partners

Texas Capital Partners is a private equity investment and development group specializing in multifamily housing, condominiums, and ski area management. Position Overview

Location: Phoenix preferred. Strong Denver-based candidates will also be considered.

Texas Capital Partners is seeking an experienced Regional Manager to oversee a portfolio of multifamily communities and drive operational performance across both owned and third-party managed assets.

In addition to traditional regional responsibilities, this role will work closely with leadership on operational initiatives, portfolio strategy, and special projects as our internal management platform continues to grow.

Because the platform is still expanding, the position requires someone comfortable operating in a lean environment and taking ownership of initiatives beyond day-to-day property oversight. This may include supporting operational processes, marketing initiatives, recruiting, and systems coordination.

The role will also have exposure to the investment side of the business, including identifying acquisition opportunities, assisting with underwriting, and contributing to broader portfolio strategy.

The ideal candidate brings strong multifamily experience, understands property performance from both an operational and financial perspective, and enjoys helping a growing organization build structure as it scales.

Key Responsibilities

Asset Performance & Portfolio Oversight

Take ownership of the operational and financial performance of a portfolio of multifamily communities
Drive improvements in NOI, occupancy, revenue growth, and expense management across the portfolio
Analyze property financials, budgets, and key operating metrics to identify opportunities and risks
Prepare and contribute to reporting materials presented to ownership and investment partners, including performance updates, operational insights, and portfolio-level analysis
Work directly with onsite teams to implement pricing strategies, leasing initiatives, and operational improvements that improve asset performance
Identify operational inefficiencies and implement solutions that improve property-level performance and resident experience
Conduct regular property visits to evaluate operations, team performance, and asset condition

Leadership & Team Development

Lead, mentor, and hold accountable Community Managers and onsite teams across the portfolio
Foster a performance-driven culture that prioritizes accountability, ownership, and results
Support recruiting, hiring, and onboarding of onsite leadership positions
Coach property teams on financial performance, leasing strategy, and operational best practices

Operational Systems & Process Improvement

Help develop and refine operational systems, processes, and SOPs as the company continues to build its internal management platform
Identify opportunities to streamline workflows, improve reporting, and increase operational efficiency across properties
Work with leadership to implement new tools, reporting structures, and operational standards
Support the rollout of company initiatives across the portfolio to ensure consistent execution
Assist in organizing internal meetings, leadership off-sites, and company retreats that support collaboration, planning, and alignment across the organization

Cross-Functional Operational Support

Because the management platform is continuing to grow, the Regional Manager will also contribute to operational initiatives that may include:

Marketing strategy coordination and campaign oversight
Recruiting support and hiring initiatives
Yardi system coordination and operational reporting improvements
Payroll and operational process oversight
Vendor management and operational project coordination

Investment & Growth Initiatives

Assist in identifying potential acquisition opportunities within existing or new markets
Support initial underwriting and operational evaluation of potential investments
Participate in evaluating asset performance and opportunities for value creation across the portfolio
Contribute to discussions around portfolio growth and long-term investment strategy

Qualifications

Experience

5+ years of multifamily property management experience
Regional Manager experience strongly preferred
Experience overseeing multiple properties or markets

Skills

Strong financial and operational understanding of multifamily performance
Ability to analyze property performance and identify improvement opportunities
Strong leadership and team development capabilities
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities across a portfolio

Technical

Experience with property management software such as Yardi
Strong working knowledge of Excel and operational reporting tools

Education

Bachelor’s degree preferred
CAM, ARM, CPM, CAPS or similar certifications are a plus

Travel Requirements

This role requires flexibility to travel across the portfolio as operational needs arise. Travel may include property visits, support for operational initiatives, and participation in company projects across markets.

Candidates should be comfortable traveling up to 50% of the time, although travel needs will vary and are not expected to be consistent year-round. When not traveling, the role will be based out of the Phoenix corporate office.

Compensation

Salary range: $100,000 – $120,000, depending on experience.
