Full Job Description

Sisu Healthcare Solutions is a privately held infusion therapy company that is dedicated to providing excellent clinical service to our patients, physicians and managed care customers. We provide comprehensive infusion therapy services that include the provision of nutritional, antibiotics, and specialty drugs administered intravenously, including all medically appropriate and necessary supplies. We provide these services and products to patients in the home setting or in our outpatient ambulatory infusion suites. Our clinical team of nurses and pharmacists work closely with physicians to develop personalized plan of care and ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Job Summary

· We are a rapidly growing home infusion pharmacy seeking a detail-oriented Procurement Specialist to manage purchasing, inventory control, vendor management, and healthcare supply chain operations.

· This role is critical to ensuring uninterrupted patient care, regulatory compliance, and cost-effective procurement of pharmaceutical and medical infusion supplies.

Key Responsibilities

· Procure specialty infusion medications in alignment with scheduled patient treatments and authorized therapy plans

· Forecast medication demand based on patient treatment queues, dosing schedules, and historical usage

· Coordinate with the prior authorization team to confirm payer approval before ordering high-cost specialty drugs

· Manage inventory levels, reorder points, and par stock across all medications and supplies

· Maintain cold-chain integrity for temperature-sensitive biologics through receiving, storage, and reconciliation

· Manage relationships with wholesalers, manufacturers, GPOs (e.g., Vizient, Premier), and limited-distribution drug (LDD) networks

· Track and reconcile invoices, contract pricing, chargebacks, and rebates

· Monitor drug shortages, recalls, and back-orders; identify therapeutic alternatives in partnership with pharmacy leadership

· Maintain accurate records for USP <797> / <800> compliance, DEA, and state Board of Pharmacy requirements

· Support 340B program compliance and inventory tracking where applicable

· Partner with finance on COGS reporting, cycle counts, and month-end inventory close

· Support audits and accreditation reviews (ACHC)

Required:

· 1–4 years of experience in pharmacy buying, specialty pharmacy operations, procurement, or healthcare supply chain

· High school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred

· Working knowledge of pharmaceutical wholesalers (e.g., AmerisourceBergen / Cencora, McKesson, Cardinal Health)

· Strong attention to detail and accuracy in a regulated environment

· Comfort with inventory management systems, ERPs, and Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP)

· Clear written and verbal communication; comfort coordinating across clinical, billing, and operational teams

· Ability to manage multiple priorities and tight ordering windows

· Authorized to work in the United States

Preferred:

· Direct experience procuring specialty or infusion drugs (biologics, immunoglobulins, oncology, rheumatology)

· Familiarity with limited-distribution drug (LDD) networks and manufacturer direct purchasing

· Experience with GPO contracting (Vizient, Premier, HealthTrust)

· 340B program experience

· Pharmacy Technician license (CPhT) or active Arizona Board of Pharmacy registration

· Exposure to USP <797> / <800> standards and cold-chain handling

· Experience with white-bagging / brown-bagging workflows and payer prior-authorization processes

Pay: $70,000.00 - $78,000.00 per year
