Full Job Description

Summary:

Verigon, an electronics contract manufacturer, has an exciting opportunity as we grow the company for a self-motivated, results oriented, Production Workforce Development Manager to develop and implement various employee training modules along with maintaining the training tracking system.

Qualifications/Skills:

4+ years of experience in a training role, preferably within a production/manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge of adult learning principles, instructional design, and facilitation techniques.
Familiarity with electronics soldering and assembly manufacturing processes, safety practices, and quality systems.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office.

· Ability to read and comprehend English

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and deliver training programs for production floor employees, including onboarding, upskilling, cross-training, and compliance/safety training.
Facilitate classroom, hands-on, and on-the-job training (OJT) sessions tailored to production roles.
Conduct Training Needs Analysis (TNA) in collaboration with supervisors and managers to identify skills gaps and prioritize training initiatives.
Maintain and update training materials and records.
Monitor and assess training effectiveness through assessments, observations, and feedback loops; continuously improve training content.
Support the development of career pathways and internal certification programs for operators, technicians, and leads.
Maintain training records and compliance documentation to meet internal standards and external regulations (AS9100, ISO 13485).
Coach and mentor production employees, acting as a point of contact for skill development.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Quality, Engineering, Operations) to ensure training aligns with company goals and standards.

The work environment is typical of a manufacturing setting where hazardous materials may be present. Security investigations may be conducted to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information and/or work areas.
