We're a warm, down-to-earth family with two school-age children, a beloved senior dog, and a home that is happiest when it feels calm, organized, and well cared for. One parent is home full-time and is deeply involved in the day-to-day care of the children, while the other has a demanding career that requires frequent travel throughout the month. Because of that rhythm, we're looking for someone who can become the steady operational foundation of our household—helping everything behind the scenes run smoothly so our family can spend more time enjoying one another.
We value routines, thoughtful organization, healthy living, and creating an environment that feels welcoming and put together. We believe that small details—fresh sheets, an organized pantry, groceries thoughtfully stocked, laundry put away, and clutter reset before it piles up—make a tremendous difference in how our family experiences everyday life. We aren't looking for perfection; we're looking for consistency and someone who genuinely enjoys creating order.
Our family spends summers at our beach home, where the pace slows down but the household still requires thoughtful management. During those months, the role shifts toward lighter logistical support—coordinating appointments, managing household needs from afar, preparing for the upcoming school year, overseeing deliveries and vendors, and helping ensure both homes remain organized. We'd love someone who can confidently oversee our current household assistance, landscapers, deep cleaners, etc., while keeping the household running seamlessly.
Above all, we're looking for someone who takes pride in making life easier for others. The right person will naturally notice what needs attention before being asked, enjoy creating and maintaining systems that last, and find satisfaction in knowing they've made a meaningful impact on our family's everyday life.
The person who will thrive in this role is someone who genuinely loves organization—not just cleaning or tidying, but building thoughtful systems that make a household function better for a family. You enjoy simplifying spaces, creating organizational system, and transforming areas like closets, mudrooms, playrooms, linen closets, and pantries into spaces that are intuitive and easy to maintain. You don't just organize for today—you organize for the future.
You're naturally proactive and highly self-directed. Once you understand how a household operates, you anticipate needs, think several steps ahead, communicate clearly, and quietly take ownership of your responsibilities. Whether it's coordinating appointments, managing household inventory, preparing groceries and meal prep for the week, rotating clothing, staying ahead of laundry and linens, or keeping calendars aligned, you take pride in creating a home that simply flows.
You're someone who makes a family's priorities, your priorities. You're comfortable shopping for high-quality groceries, paying attention to organic food preferences and clean household products, and respecting fragrance-free environments. You enjoy collaborating with others when needed, whether that's coordinating with household vendors or helping keep the family's shared calendar synchronized with a professional executive assistant. You're equally comfortable managing recurring responsibilities and taking on occasional projects that improve the home over time.
Most importantly, you're someone who finds fulfillment in making other people's lives easier. You understand that exceptional household management isn't about checking off a task list—it's about creating peace of mind. If you're the type of person who naturally resets a room before leaving it, notices supplies running low before anyone else does, enjoys tackling organization projects, and takes genuine pride in a well-run home, you'll likely feel very at home here.
