Job Description

Role: Senior IT Business Analyst - Warehouse Management

Location: Pickering, ON

Job Type: 6 Months Contract

Work Model: Hybrid (3 to 4 days a week onsite)

Description:

Senior Business Analyst with deep expertise in transportation, Warehouse, and Supply-Chain operations to support the warehouse system, enhancement, and ongoing optimization of enterprise logistics systems, including Oracle Transportation Management (OTM). This role serves as a critical bridge between business operations and technology teams, translating operational needs into clear requirements and ensuring solutions are delivered effectively, tested thoroughly, and adopted successfully across the organization.

Required Skills & Experience

9+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a related role.
Strong understanding of warehouse operations, transportation management, logistics, and supply-chain processes.
Demonstrated experience supporting system implementation, enhancement, integration, and process-improvement initiatives.
Proven ability to gather, analyze, document, and validate business and functional requirements.
Experience creating process flows, use cases, user stories, functional specifications, and acceptance criteria.
Experience coordinating UAT, defect resolution, deployment readiness, and post-implementation support.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

Practical, hands-on exposure to Oracle Transportation Management (OTM) / Warehouse Management & Operation.
Good knowledge of project-management practices, including planning, requirements tracking, risk management, and testing methodologies.
Familiarity with requirements documentation tools and process-modeling techniques (e.g., BPMN, flowcharting).
Understanding of integration points between transportation, warehouse management, and broader ERP/supply-chain systems.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts clearly to varied audiences.
Ability to communicate effectively with business users, technical teams, vendors, senior leaders, and external partners.
Strong facilitation, negotiation, and stakeholder-management skills.
Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and drive initiatives to completion.
