Full Job Description

Staffworks Group is seeking a CNC Programmer / Manufacturing Engineers.

This is an opportunity to work on massive, highly engineered componentsused in power-generation equipment while operating some of the most advanced machining technology in the industry.

Pay Rate $60-$62/hr.

Advanced Technology & Equipment

You’ll work with an industry-leading combination of software, automation, and machine tools, including:

CAD/CAM: Siemens NX with 5-axis continuous milling, VTL, VBM, HBM, multi-axis EDM, and other advanced applications
Digital Twin & Simulation: Vericut and Siemens Run My Virtual Machine
Advanced Machine Tools: Custom 10-ton multi-function grinding machines, large 5-axis mills, and VTLs/VBMs up to 2.5 meters
Machining Diagnostics & Automation: Closed-Loop Machining (CLM), Renishaw probing routines, Caron Engineering TMaC, and modal analysis/tap-testing equipment

What You’ll Do

Develop, optimize, and maintain advanced CNC programs for complex multi-axis machining operations.
Program and optimize machining processes for high-temperature superalloys such as Inconel, Rene, and other nickel-based alloys.
Use Vericut and digital twin technology to simulate, validate, and optimize CNC programs before production.
Develop macro programs, probing routines, and closed-loop machining processes to improve accuracy, consistency, and efficiency.
Support the integration and commissioning of new, high-value machine tools.
Partner with Manufacturing Engineers and shop-floor teams to establish machining standards and improve processes.
Troubleshoot CNC programs, setups, tooling, and machining issues on the production floor.
Support first-piece production and prove out new components and machining processes.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to machinists and manufacturing personnel.
Continuously identify opportunities to improve productivity, quality, process stability, and safety.

Requirements

4+ years of experience with offline CNC programming using a CAM system.
Demonstrated experience programming 4- and 5-axis continuous milling, large VTLs, multi-axis grinding, or similar advanced machining equipment.
Strong experience with graphical CAM software; Siemens NX strongly preferred.
Experience machining high-temperature alloys, superalloys, or large/heavy structural components.
Knowledge of modern CNC controls such as Siemens Sinumerik, Fanuc, Okuma, or Haas.
Experience with on-machine probing, including Renishaw macros and probing routines.
Ability to troubleshoot CNC programs and machining processes in a production environment.
Strong understanding of machining methods, tooling, process optimization, and setup requirements.
Commitment to quality, precision, safety, and continuous improvement.
Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively with engineering and shop-floor teams.
