Hotel CleoValet, Bellman, Concierge & Room Service AttendantPosition Overview
The Valet, Bellman, Concierge & Room Service Attendant is an essential part of the Hotel Cleo guest experience. This position is responsible for warmly welcoming guests, assisting with arrivals and departures, providing valet and bell services, assisting with concierge requests, completing nightly turndown service, and supporting room service operations.
The ideal candidate is personable, professional, dependable, punctual, and knowledgeable about the Knoxville area. This position requires someone who takes pride in providing exceptional hospitality and understands that every guest interaction is an opportunity to create a memorable experience.
Key Responsibilities
Guest Welcome & Hospitality
- Warmly welcome every guest upon arrival.
- Open vehicle and hotel doors for arriving and departing guests.
- Greet guests with a friendly, professional, and welcoming attitude.
- Assist guests with luggage and escort them to their rooms when needed.
- Maintain a polished and professional presence in the lobby and entrance areas.
- Be attentive to guest needs and proactively offer assistance.
- Provide directions, recommendations, and information about Hotel Cleo and the surrounding Knoxville area.
Valet Services
- Safely and efficiently park and retrieve guest vehicles.
- Maintain accurate vehicle and key records.
- Ensure guest vehicles are handled with care and returned promptly.
- Verify vehicle and key information before leaving the valet area.
- Keep the valet and hotel entrance areas clean, organized, and presentable.
- Communicate with the front desk regarding arriving and departing guests.
Bell & Concierge Services
- Assist guests with luggage during arrival and departure.
- Deliver items and amenities to guest rooms as requested.
- Assist guests with restaurant recommendations, local attractions, transportation, and other Knoxville-area information.
- Help coordinate guest requests with the front desk and other hotel departments.
- Maintain a welcoming presence and provide personalized service throughout the guest's stay.
Turndown Service
- Complete nightly turndown service according to Hotel Cleo standards.
- Prepare guest rooms for the evening by completing all assigned turndown tasks.
- Deliver requested amenities and ensure rooms are presented neatly and thoughtfully.
- Respect guest privacy and follow all DND procedures.
- Communicate any room concerns or maintenance issues to the appropriate department.
Room Service Support
- Assist with room service deliveries and pickups.
- Provide professional and courteous service when delivering food and beverages to guest rooms.
- Maintain proper food-service procedures and presentation standards.
- Must be willing and able to obtain and maintain an ABC license as required to assist with alcoholic beverage room service deliveries.
- Follow all hotel policies regarding alcohol service and guest identification.

- Anticipate guest needs whenever possible.
- Treat every guest with respect and genuine hospitality.
- Maintain a calm and professional demeanor when handling guest concerns.
- Never ignore a guest who needs assistance—if you cannot personally help, find the appropriate team member who can.
Knowledge of Knoxville
The successful candidate should have a strong working knowledge of the Knoxville area, including:
- Restaurants and bars
- Downtown Knoxville
- Local attractions and entertainment
- Parking and transportation options
- Major venues and event locations
- Popular shopping and dining areas
- Directions and general travel information
Employees are expected to be able to confidently make recommendations and assist guests with questions about the area.

Pay: $12.00 - $16.00 per hour
