Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and versatile Float CMA/Receptionist to provide exceptional support across multiple clinical and administrative areas within our healthcare family. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in medical office operations, patient care, and clinical support, with the ability to adapt seamlessly to various medical offices. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a dynamic healthcare environment by ensuring smooth daily operations, delivering outstanding patient service, and supporting clinical teams.

Duties

Greet and assist patients efficiently while managing check-in and check-out processes using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.
Schedule appointments, coordinate patient flow, and manage patient records with accuracy and confidentiality.
Support clinical staff by taking vital signs, recording medical histories, and preparing patients for examinations or procedures.
Assist with clinical tasks such as phlebotomy.
Maintain a clean, organized reception area and clinical workspace in compliance with health and safety standards.
Manage incoming calls, respond to patient inquiries, and provide clear information regarding services or procedures.
Document medical information accurately in EMR/EHR systems while adhering to medical documentation standards.

Requirements

Prior experience working in a medical office setting with knowledge of medical terminology and records management.
Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems and electronic health records management practices.
Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is preferred; additional certifications such as phlebotomy or medical assisting are advantageous.
Demonstrated ability to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently within fast-paced environments such as urgent care or hospital settings.
Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on patient service excellence and team collaboration.
Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pharmacology, and medical documentation standards is highly desirable.
