JFM, LLC, a growing machine shop, has immediate openings for Entry Level CNC Operators and General Shop Laborers. Operators will operate CNC 3 & 4-axis mills, and Laser Part Marking machines, all within a clean and temperature-controlled facility.
We are looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Machine Operator to operate and monitor production equipment, maintain quality standards, and ensure a safe and efficient production process. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, able to follow written and verbal instructions, and comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
Operate and monitor production machinery and equipment.
Load raw materials and remove finished products from equipment.
Inspect products for quality, defects, and proper dimensions.
Make basic machine adjustments and troubleshoot minor equipment issues.
Perform routine cleaning, lubrication, and preventative maintenance.
Accurately complete production, quality, and maintenance records.
Follow all safety procedures, company policies, and OSHA requirements.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Communicate equipment problems, quality issues, and production concerns to
supervisors or maintenance personnel.
Meet established production and quality goals.
Perform general shop upkeep tasks.
Qualifications
Previous manufacturing or machine operating experience preferred.
Mechanical aptitude and ability to learn new equipment.
Ability to read and follow work instructions, production orders, and safety procedures.
Ability to read and understand blueprints.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Ability to use basic measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, or gages.
Basic computer skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to lift, stand, bend, and perform physical tasks as required by the position.
Preferred Skills
CNC, or automated equipment experience.
Experience with machine setup and changeovers.
Preventative maintenance or troubleshooting experience.
Forklift or other equipment certifications.

Pay: $18.00 - $28.00 per hour
