RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provide administrative, graphics, and technical support to engineers.
Utilize computer programs and software to design distribution system lines.
Conduct field work, including site visits, job staking, taking photos, and gathering information.
Develop designs and solve problems for the electrical distribution system.
Communicate with customers, contractors, and internal departments.
Update records accurately and manage project budgets.
Ensure compliance with company, industry, and regulatory standards, including proper documentation and estimates.
Support regulatory compliance and permitting for design plans.
Optimize equipment and system utilization.

REQUIRED EDUCATION:

High school diploma or equivalent PLUS course work in accounting, computers, electricity, drafting, or related field.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

No experience required; related experience desired.
- Related experience may include previous work at a utility or project management.
- Familiarity to the area and community involvement is desired.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:

This position will report regularly in person to Pine River, MN
Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license.
Strong performance and communication skills needed to build productive relationships with internal and external customers.
Ability to manage multiple projects.
Must be able to work both in the office and in the field year-round.
This position may be subject to assessment of skills, job match and/or aptitude.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:

The expected hourly compensation range for this position is $23.60 - $28.80. Compensation offered to the selected candidate will vary depending on relevant knowledge, skills, training, experience, and market conditions.
