Construction Superintendent

Paragon Waterfront Homes LLC is a family owned and operated construction company located in Saint Petersburg, FL. We are a team of professionals who are committed to the highest level of quality, customer service, and safety. We are looking for an experienced Construction Superintendent to join our team.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Supervise and direct SFH new construction from start to finish.
Establish and maintain relationships with clients, subcontractors, and vendors.
Coordinate with Project Managers, Architects, Engineers, and other project personnel.
Maintain all construction documents including blueprints, drawings, schedules, etc. through buildertrend
Maintain project budget and conduct change orders during construction
Perform inspections of all construction related equipment including trucks, trailers, cranes, etc.
Coordinate with other departments to ensure projects are completed in a timely manner.
Work with subcontractors and vendors to ensure that all requirements of the project are met.
Ensure that all equipment is properly maintained and that all safety standards are followed at all times.
Perform daily inspections of equipment (trucks, trailers, etc.)to ensure that it is in working order and that it complies with all applicable codes.
Other duties as assigned by manager or supervisor.

Our organization is looking for an experienced Residential Construction Supervisor, to manage our remote teams and projects. Primary responsibilities will be to supervise multiple residential developments in the St Petersburg and surrounding area.

This role requires excellent communication skills, as you’ll collaborate with various people, such as construction workers, architects and engineers. In order to succeed, it’s important to know how to implement quality, health, and safety standards onsite.

The job is fast-paced, and we will need a well-rounded, level-headed, accountable, positive and relational person to be successful.

Requirements

Must be able to read blueprints
Previous experience as a construction supervisor in a similar role
Knowledge of local quality, safety, and health guidelines for construction job sites
Proven experience as construction superintendent or similar position.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously; organize staff and resources; maintain high standards of housekeeping and cleanliness; budget projections; monitor time-tables; establish deadlines; develop schedules for completion of jobs; motivate employees; solve problems; supervise work crews; communicate effectively; excellent written and verbal communication skills; strong leadership skills; knowledge of construction materials and equipment (trucking, cranes, etc.)and their uses in construction projects.
Knowledge of OSHA regulations (30CFR Part 30) is a plus but not required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
