Shifts: (3-11:30 p.m.) or nights (11-7:30 a.m.) with every other weekend. Also, weekend only shifts available

A nursing home Registered Nurse (RN) provides continuous medical care and emotional support to elderly or chronically ill residents. They conduct physical assessments, manage medications, and develop comprehensive care plans. Additionally, they supervise LPNs and CNAs, and act as a key liaison between patients, doctors, and family members.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive head-to-toe assessments upon admission and routinely monitor to detect any changes.
Record vital signs, mental status, skin condition, and other critical medical data.
Operate medical equipment and input clinical data into patient records.
Develop and implement personalized resident care plans in collaboration with physicians, therapists, and social workers.
Coordinate health promotion, preventative care, and rehabilitative exercises.
Safely administer medications (oral, topical, IV, or injections) and document the resident's response.
Perform clinical procedures such as wound care, drawing blood, and catheter management.
Supervise, educate, and assign duties to Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs).
Ensure the facility's floor operations follow established health and safety standards.
Provide education and emotional support to residents and their families regarding diagnoses, treatments, and care options.
Communicate changes in health status and coordinate care goals
