Full Job Description

Leading Home Care has immediate openings for In-Home Caregivers / Direct Support Workers to work with clients in Pineville and the surrounding areas. Multiple shifts are available; we will match you to shifts that fit your availability. Being a caregiver requires no experience and is a rewarding career that requires patience and compassion above all.

** Valid driver's license and access to a personal vehicle is preferred. **

You’ll work inside clients’ homes to provide daily assistance and help them maintain their independence. Some of your daily duties may include:

Assistance with personal care & hygiene tasks like bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
Community outings including errands, shopping, transportation to appointments, etc.
Light housekeeping and laundry
Meal preparation, nutrition, and assistance with feeding
Medication assistance and administration
Mobility assistance or transferring
Companionship and socialization
Proper documentation and completion of service logs

Pay & Benefits

Starting pay is $9-12 per hour (based on client assignment)
Receive a $50 initial training bonus after completing hiring requirements.

Requirements

Applicants must be 18 years or older, must be able to read, write and follow instructions in English, and must satisfactorily pass all required and applicable State & Federal eligibility verifications, including background, driving, and other record checks.

Must possess a GPS-capable and web-enabled smartphone to log services per State & Federal EVV requirements.

Must maintain & provide copy of current Driver’s License or ID, Social Security Card, & Auto Insurance.

Specific physical requirements vary by assignment but may include bending, stooping, kneeling, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, carrying, and lifting up to 50lbs.

Must be punctual, dependable, respectful, patient, self-directing, able to work with little supervision, and willing and eager to fulfill accepted case assignments.

Must successfully complete orientation/training as required by State guidelines.
