Compensation: $25.00/hr
JOB SUMMARY
The primary responsibility of the Fabricator – Polisher is to fabricate and polish granite and quartz materials to the correct specifications while ensuring quality finish, adherence to safety procedures, and proper use and maintenance of fabrication equipment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Grind or polish objects or parts to correct defects or to prepare surfaces for further finishing, using hand tools and power tools

Safely load and adjust materials onto equipment or worktables

Measure and mark equipment, objects, or parts to ensure grinding and polishing standards are met

Ensure fabrications/polishing standards are met

Repair and face polish Stone surface materials
-
Thoroughly inspect products to ensure quality finish

Ensure all equipment/machinery are in proper working order

Track all equipment/machinery maintenance schedules
-
Ensure work area is clear of debris that may compromise safety of work area and staff

Follow all safety procedures in place
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.

1 year of polishing experience is preferred.

Ability to use Moraware, or similar software preferred.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Standing for sustained periods.

Repetitive motion of wrists, hands, fingers (pinch, grasp).

Ability to understand and distinguish speech and workplace sounds.
WORK ENVIRONMENT

Field/Warehouse/Fabrication shop environment.

Must be able to wear personal protective equipment required for the job.

Exposure to machinery, material handling equipment, dust, and noise.
