About us

The Mind Heart Center is a wellness center on Union Street in San Francisco, next door to The Pad Studios.

We offer a variety of services: Massage therapy, Acupuncture, Chiropractic care, The MindSet, and multiple somatic classes.

We are a small team that knows our clients by name and support them through whatever comes. It is a community. That is the job.

Job Summary

We are looking for a Center Manager to run the daily operations of the center and grow with us. This starts at 2 to 3 shifts per week and expands as you take on more.

Responsibilities

Manage: appointments, class schedules, practitioner calendars, memberships, packages, gift cards, payments
Facilities: Keep supplies, laundry, and inventory stocked and ordered. This includes ensuring that the center, all electronics, amenities, back studio, and practitioner rooms are clean, organized, in safe working condition, and ready before every client arrives.
Coordinate with practitioners and class teachers on scheduling and room setup
Keep a pulse on weekly metrics like bookings and attendance; share your insights with the owners.
Oversee front desk scheduling and fulfill front desk associate responsibilities as a core part of the role.
Open and close the center, keep the space clean and ready before every client arrives. Greet clients in person and answer the phone, email, and messages, same day.
Outreach and marketing: act as our boots on the ground to assist the marketing team. Help us with the newsletter, social media presence, and building local partnerships.
Client retention: follow up on inquiries, rebook clients, handle cancellations and waitlists

Skills

Working knowledge of Momence, or strong experience with a similar system such as Mindbody or Vagaro and the ability to learn Momence fast
Highly organized. You keep your own systems and nothing falls through the cracks
Prior experience running the front of a studio, spa, clinic, or salon
Comfortable with money, payments, and holding clients accountable to a package or membership
Available some evenings (we're open until 8pm Thursday, Friday, and Sunday)

Schedule

Initially part-time with 2 to 3 shifts per week, with opportunities for future growth
Open Sunday through Friday, closed Saturday
Free classes and discounted services at the center and at The Pad Studios
