LANICOM LLC is a leading provider of IT solutions and services for targeted industries that we serve. We are currently looking for a qualified Bookkeeper/Accounting Assistant person to join our team.

This is a part-time position (~20 hrs/ week) responsible for maintaining and supporting daily bookkeeping, job cost accounting, and general office duties.

Responsible for:

Accounts Payable

Accounts Recievable

Payroll

Tax Payments

Sales Tax Accounting

General Office Duties (Trash, Cleaning, Organization, Shipping, Marketing Support)

A successful candidate must have:

Excellent interpersonal, supervisory, organizational and customer service skills strongly preferred

Willingness to learn our procedures and processes

Experience in a related field, or demonstrate equivalent training or technical experience

Basic knowledge of accounting

Experience working with outside vendors and support companies as needed

Functional knowledge of Microsoft Office & Quickbooks

Strong attention to details

Flexible schedule as this job may require extended hours, occasional night, or even weekend work
