Bartender / Golf Simulator Attendant
Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender/Golf Simulator Attendant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, strong customer service skills, leadership ability, and a positive attitude while creating a welcoming experience for every guest.
As a Bartender, you will be responsible for preparing beverages, providing excellent customer service, maintaining a clean and organized bar area, handling guest transactions, monitoring responsible alcohol service, assisting with inventory, and following all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
As a Golf Simulator Attendant, you will welcome guests, assist with check-in, set up simulator sessions, explain basic simulator features, answer general questions, and provide light troubleshooting when needed. You will help maintain simulator equipment and playing areas, ensure guests follow facility policies and safety guidelines, and contribute to a clean, friendly, and enjoyable environment. This role also includes assisting with general facility operations, supporting team members, and helping deliver an outstanding guest experience.
Responsibilities
Bartending
- Prepare and serve beverages according to standard recipes and guest preferences.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders, and addressing questions or concerns.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware, utensils, and bar equipment.
- Monitor guest alcohol consumption and follow responsible alcohol service practices.
- Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system.
- Assist with inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages.
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations.
- Assist with maintaining an organized and efficient bar operation.
Golf Simulator Attendant
- Welcome guests and assist with checking them into their simulator bay.
- Set up golf simulator sessions and help guests navigate basic simulator features and controls.
- Answer general questions about simulator operation and available options.
- Provide basic troubleshooting for common simulator issues and notify management of equipment concerns.
- Monitor simulator areas to ensure equipment is used safely and according to facility guidelines.
- Clean and organize simulator bays between reservations.
- Demonstrate a willingness to learn simulator operations and assist guests as needed.
- Help create a fun, welcoming, and inclusive environment for golfers of all experience levels.
- Assist with general facility operations and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Previous bartending experience in a restaurant, bar, or similar environment preferred.
- Previous supervisory or management experience preferred.
- Golf experience or familiarity with the game preferred.
- Comfortable using technology and willing to learn golf simulator software and equipment.
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and responsible alcohol service.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Experience handling cash and operating point-of-sale systems.
- Ability to multitask while maintaining attention to detail.
- Ability to take initiative, support team members, and assist with daily operations.
- Flexible schedule with availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Passion for hospitality and willingness to learn.
- Positive attitude, reliability, and strong work ethic.
Preferred Skills & Experience
- Previous supervisory or management experience.
- Experience with golf simulators or similar entertainment technology.
- Bartending or mixology experience.
- Customer service or hospitality experience.
- ServSafe Certification.
