Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and organized Front Desk Assistant to join our chiropractic practice. In this vital role, you will serve as the first point of contact for patients and visitors, ensuring a welcoming and efficient experience. Your responsibilities will include managing patient intake, scheduling appointments, verifying insurance information, and maintaining accurate medical records. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a healthcare environment that values excellence in patient service.

Responsibilities

Greet patients and visitors warmly, establishing a friendly and professional atmosphere.
Verify insurance coverage and benefits, including Medicare and Medicaid, ensuring accurate billing processes.
Collect and process payments for services rendered, including medical collections when applicable.
Maintain and update patient records accurately.
Answer multi-line phone systems with excellent phone etiquette; direct calls appropriately.
Assist with medical documentation review and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Support administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and managing clinic correspondence.
Coordinate with medical staff to facilitate smooth clinic operations and patient care plans.
Handle intake procedures efficiently while ensuring all necessary documentation is completed accurately.

Qualifications

Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally both in person and over the phone.
Ability to handle sensitive health information in compliance with HIPAA standards.

Environment: Indoor; Requires Standing, Walking, and Movement
Dress Code: Well Groomed / Professional; Scrubs and Nice Gym Shoes; No Shorts; No Visible Tattoos, Nose Rings, or Gauges; No Abnormal Hair Color (Pink, Blue, Purple, Etc.)
No Profanity/Cussing Allowed
Attitude: Employees are required to have a good attitude towards patients and staff along with respectfulness towards the doctors.

Pay: $13.00 - $17.00 per hour
