Posting Summary

Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey is seeking a part-time Lab Technician Assistant for the Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology at the Ernest Mario School of Pharmacy.

Among the key duties of the position are the following:

Conducts routine cell culture related experiments.
Supports cleanroom operations and manages documentation.
Performs data analysis, summarizes and reports to supervisor.

$25 - $30 per hour

Qualifications

Minimum Education and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Cell Biology, or a related scientific/technical discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and/or relevant laboratory technician or research study experience carrying out research protocols and tests, or other technical work may be substituted for the degree.

Certifications/Licenses

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Basic molecular biology techniques.
Familiarity with cell culture related techniques and usage of Graphpad Prism software.

Preferred Qualifications

One year or more of experience in reproductive biology related field.
