Full Job Description

The Client Success Manager (CSM) is the ACT ambassador for a select number of our clients. The role consists of account management work, as well as leadership and co-management with a team of Level 3 engineers. The CSM will be acting as the top-tier representative for ACT engineering resources and maintain ownership of the clients’ technology roadmap Client environments may range from simple on premise infrastructures to hybrid cloud and complex multi-location network environments. The CSM will be responsible for providing access to technology consulting, improvements of client networks, risk mitigation, security solutions, and support services that meet the demands and expectations of your clients.

The CSM maintains visibility and oversight across all client engagements, including projects, upgrades, build outs, support requests, and maintenance activities. The CSM will work closely with the Client Technology Manager (CTM) who will be responsible for technology design and execution, overseeing service incidents, hardware and software implementations, and infrastructure improvements. Additionally, the CSM will be responsible for high level advisory, consultation, procurement, and delivering project performance.

Responsibilities:

· Track all requests in the corporate ticketing system.

· Conduct Technology Business Reviews.

· Generate and Curate Opportunities, Quotes, and Proposals.

· Present and Negotiate pricing for projects, services, and deliverables to expand our service offerings.

· Craft roadmaps for the build-out, support, on-going maintenance, and upgrades of the entire client infrastructure including on-premise and cloud-based solutions.

· Act as a liaison to the Project Team for new and existing client engagements

· Work closely with the CTM on client calls to reinforce professional relationships.

· Comprehend visual network diagrams, visual assessments, and other materials to facilitate customer understanding.

· Participate in regularly scheduled and ad-hoc meetings with peers and clients.

· Participates in developing, communicating, and maintaining ACT standards.

· Maintain Service Level Agreements.

· Complete Ownership of Client Satisfaction.

· Adhere to our proprietary Account Management System.

Requirements:

· Experience engaging senior stakeholders

· Experience in Managed Services Provider industry

· Knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server

· Knowledge of Microsoft 365

· Knowledge of Virtualization technologies

· Knowledge of Enterprise Email protection and filtering technologies

· Knowledge of enterprise switching and firewall technologies

· Knowledge of Enterprise Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity

· Experience with organizations that have multiple locations

· Experience managing client accounts within service-based organizations

Position Requirements:

· BA/BS degree in the field of Computer Science or equivalent field and/or 3-5+ years of experience

· Strong executive communication and relationship management skills

· Exceptional documentation, written email, and oral presentation communication skills

· Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a focus on team building, deep listening, and questioning

· Ability to present ideas in user-friendly language for technical and non-technical audiences

· Highly self-motivated and energetic

· Sharp attention to detail for product and pricing anomalies

· Exceptional customer service orientation and demonstrate client sensitivity

· Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment

· Ability to interface with high profile industry clients on a daily basis

· Reliable transportation to conduct site surveys as well as meet vendors and clients

Additional Duties:

· Implement ACT’s operational and security standards

· Update Standard Operating Procedures as needed

· Work with cross-functional teams to accomplish corporate and departmental goals

· Recommend network health practices based on industry best practices and ACT standards

Work Conditions:

· Ability to travel for business and work beyond normal business hours when necessary

· Ability to work extra hours as needed (including late nights and weekends)

· Ability to sit at desk or workstation for extended periods of time

· Ability to lift and transport 40 lb objects, such as computers and peripherals

· Ability to participate in many video and phone calls

Pay: $70,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
