Certified Dietary Manager

Join the Via Christi Village Pittsburg team as a Certified Dietary Manager in Pittsburg, KS! As a key member of our healthcare family, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest quality of care and nutrition for our residents.

About the Role:

At Via Christi Village Pittsburg, we are committed to providing exceptional care and services to our residents. As a Certified Dietary Manager, you will oversee all aspects of food service, including menu planning, food preparation, and food safety and sanitation protocols. You will work closely with our culinary team to ensure that every resident receives delicious and nutritious meals that meet their individual needs. With your expertise and guidance, we strive to exceed the expectations of our residents, families, and staff.

Responsibilities:

Oversee the daily operations of the dietary department, including menu planning, food preparation, and food service
Ensure compliance with all dietary regulations, including food safety and sanitation protocols
Supervise and train dietary staff, including cooks, servers, and dishwashers
Collaborate with the culinary team to develop menus that meet the unique needs of our residents
Conduct food safety and sanitation audits to ensure compliance with regulatory standards
Monitor and report on food inventory, ordering, and budgeting
Develop and implement processes to ensure efficient and effective food service operations

Requirements:
