Local Team Collaboration:

Join our close-knit team of 6 physicians and 2 APPs at Mercy Hospital Pittsburg.
Our team thrives on collaboration and mutual support, and we are always ready to help during procedures or shift changes.
Accountable, on-site leadership: a local medical director who knows the community and owns the department's performance, supported by Sound's leadership-development tools.
Stable, well-staffed teams: cohesive teams aligned on our patient-first culture of excellence, which means less reliance on premium temp labor and more predictable shifts.

Qualifications:

Board-certified nurse practitioners.
Prior emergency department experience and commitment to patient-first care.
Authorized to work in the United States.

Scheduling:

Recognizing the importance of work-life balance, we offer a flexible schedule. We are always there to support each other when covering shifts.
Shift times are 11 a.m. – 9 p.m.
Full-time status is 120 hours per month.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide high-quality care in a 13-bed Level IV emergency department, managing a diverse range of cases with 15,500 annual visits.
Work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including specialists and imaging professionals, to deliver top-tier care.
Engage in regular monthly, remote, and in-person meetings to foster team collaboration and provide a platform for feedback and continuous improvement.
