Full Job Description

Pittsburgh civil litigation firm is seeking a legal secretary to join its Pittsburgh office. Candidate should have three to five years’ experience with a law firm. Candidates must be dependable, detail oriented and self-motivated. Excellent organization, time management and multi-tasking skills are required in our deadline driven environment. Must be a team player, show initiative and be able to interact professionally with all levels of the firm and clients.

Candidate will assist attorney(s) in the performance of complex secretarial and clerical duties requiring knowledge of legal terminology and court filing systems. Candidate is required to work with client and firm confidential information.

Duties include preparing and drafting legal documents and correspondence, heavy dictation, service and filing of pleadings, attorney time entry, maintaining client files, litigation calendars and providing all aspects of litigation support.

Experience with Microsoft Word, ProLaw and iManage preferred.
