Full Job Description

Summit Psychological Services is a outpatient behavioral health office. We provide therapy and medication management to clients in the Pittsburgh, Cranberry Township and New Kensington areas. We are looking for some new team members who are compassionate, detail oriented and excited to be part of a great team. We currently have job openings in Seven Fields and Fox Chapel.

Job Responsibilities:

Our front office team supports the overall functioning of a multi-disciplinary professional practice, interacting with psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, psychologists and behavioral health clinicians.

Your job duties would include (but are not limited to) collecting co-pays, managing calendars, scheduling appointments, triaging a high volume of incoming calls, and completing general office file clerk responsibilities in a timely manor.

We are looking for front office staff that can handle confidential information and efficiently facilitate communication between providers and patients. We require that you be able to greet patients promptly and take care of their needs in a friendly and professional manner, while triaging patient and provider needs.

Required:
Well-developed interpersonal skills and knowledge of customer service principles.
Strong knowledge of word processing and Microsoft Excel software, filing systems and general office procedures.
Exemplar verbal and written communication skills.
Accuracy and attention to details.
Prioritizes and multitasks with ease.
Ability to work independently and as a team.
Presents with a professional demeanor in a stressful environment.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with patients, practitioners, management, and other staff.

Preferred:

Previous employment in a doctors office desired.

Customer service experience preferred
Associate's degree or 2+ years of administrative support experience preferred.

**Hours: (may need to be flexible depending on providers schedules)

Part time and Full time Positions open at Seven Fields

Typical end time:

Dependent on location and position evening staff (Mon - Thurs) ends at 9:00pm
Friday and Weekend (Saturday only) ends 6:00pm

Dependent on location and position.

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
