You must be willing to learn and continue to learn and grow with your job. Performance assessments are completed at months 3 then annually for wage increases.

Our Medical Weight Loss Company is expanding in the Pittsburgh area. We are seeking reliable, energetic, self-motivated, and hardworking individuals who want to work in a fast-paced, exciting environment. You will need to have a reliable vehicle with a valid driver license.

The Office/Medical Assistant is responsible for promptly and professionally assisting our Providers and patients. The Office/Medical Assistant position is a multi-tasking position that has the most interactions with our patients so living a healthy lifestyle is important. The position is subject to random drug testing and has a 90 day probation period upon being hired.

MUST HAVE RELIABLE TRANSPORTATION AND WILLINGNESS TO TRAVEL TO ALL LOCATIONS!!

*Duties Include:*

· Being able to perform multiple activities simultaneously.

· Have a clear, pleasant voice and be easy to talk to with professional characteristics.

· Maintain inventory standards while completing and preparing orders

· Acknowledge confidential information and abide by ALL HIPPA and OSHA protocols.

· Ability to train other office/medical assistants and assist providers.

· Responsible for all patient visits, including but not limited to med exams, refills, counseling sessions, and consults.

· Work with staff to manage efficient, fast-pace patient flow.

· Responsible for all patient metrics being entered in the system and collecting all accounts receivable.

· Fully responsible for all payments received in the clinic.

· Educate yourself on the programs and services offered at the respective clinics, including pricing, frequency, and luxury services.

· Learn how to administer subcutaneous injections on the arm and hip.

· Treat your workplace with respect, by cleaning the designated areas efficiently.

· Maintain and live a healthy lifestyle.

Preferred Skills / Experience:

No experience necessary; however, previous work in a healthcare or retail setting can be a bonus.
Motivational, inspirations and a positive attitude
Competent with digital devices (computers) and phone systems
High personal energy and enthusiasm for helping people!
Ability to multi-task and work in a high paced environment
Understanding of basic nutrition and health
