Greenwood is currently hiring experienced Project Superintendents with a valid MA Superintendent License (CSL) for projects in Massachusetts. Opportunity for full-time or seasonal/temporary roles.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure strict adherence and compliance to safety culture
- Oversee daily job site operations, including maintaining adequate materials and supplies for multiple crews
- Improve job site efficiency and cost containment
- Schedule in coordination with sales and management including designating material staging areas
- Oversee site foremen, ensuring they follow policy, as well as overseeing and training of individuals in roofing system installations
- Respond to questions of clients, site foreman, management and including crew personnel scheduling and issues
- Conduct site visits and attend pre-bid meetings to understand project scope
- Maintain communication with Owner/management about important issues related to job progress, employee performance, or client success
- Coordinate work schedule with clients and subcontractors and inform Supervisor of all changes in the schedule
- Maintain job site records, daily reports, delay requests and weather reports as required
- Monitor job progress and control costs
- Provide information/support to estimators for major change orders
- Attend daily department team meetings and weekly scheduling meetings
- Build and maintain a great field worker team to deliver a superior experience to our clients
Requirements:
- Must hold a valid unrestricted MA Superintendent License (CSL)
- 2+ years previous Superintendent experience
- Commercial construction experience required
- Ability to multitask, run several crews and projects at a time
- Ability to read and understand blueprints and specifications
- Must be able to interface with Consultants, Owners, Subcontractors, General Contractors, and other Company Management
- Ability to do quality assurance of commercial roofing systems
- Perform other related duties as required
