Overview
Woodlife Farm Market is looking for motivated and dedicated Chefs, Sous Chefs, and Line Cooks to join our growing culinary team. We have full-time and part-time positions available, with opportunities for experienced culinary professionals as well as motivated individuals looking to grow their skills.

This is a hands-on kitchen role that supports both our daily market operations and special events. Depending on your experience, you'll prepare high-quality meals for our market customers, assist with event catering, and help bring our farm-to-table philosophy to life.

From Sunday brunch and Lobster Fest to fresh deli lunches and private events, you'll play an important role in creating memorable food experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

Duties

Prepare and cook menu items with consistency and attention to quality.
Help coordinate kitchen operations for onsite restaurant & bar, private bookings, and market events.
Work the deli counter and contribute to food prep in the meat and fish market as needed.
Maintain consistent food quality, presentation, and portion standards.
Uphold all food safety and sanitation procedures.
Assist with kitchen inventory, ordering, and minimizing waste.
Ensure kitchen cleanliness and proper equipment care.
For experienced candidates, help train and supervise junior kitchen staff when applicable.

Experience

Previous experience in a kitchen, catering, or restaurant environment preferred—but we’re willing to train the right candidate.
Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced setting.
A collaborative mindset and strong communication skills.
Familiarity with food safety standards and a commitment to cleanliness.
Comfort with flexible scheduling, including weekends and event days.
A strong interest in seasonal cooking, local sourcing, and community dining experiences.
