Job Description: We are seeking a Breakfast & Prep Cook to join our culinary team. This role is responsible for executing our breakfast service and supporting the kitchen with thoughtful, efficient prep work for the day ahead. You’ll take pride in creating a warm and consistent start to our guests’ day – whether it’s a perfectly soft-scrambled egg, an elegant yogurt parfait, or one of our signature morning specials.

This role is ideal for a cook who loves the rhythm of early mornings, enjoys working independently and collaboratively, and values quality, simplicity, and care in the kitchen.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and execute all breakfast items to the highest quality and consistency standards
Follow recipes and plating guidelines while maintaining creativity in seasonal specials
Set up and break down breakfast station daily, ensuring cleanliness and organization throughout shift
Support daily prep for lunch, dinner, and events as directed by Culinary Lead and Hotel Manager
Ensure proper food storage, labeling, and rotation practices in line with health codesMaintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, including regular sanitation of work areas and equipment
Communicate clearly with front-of-house team on dish timing, substitutions, and guest feedback
Occasionally assist with light baking, pickling, or production of housemade items for service

Qualifications:

At least 1-2 years kitchen experience, ideally with a focus on breakfast, brunch, or prep
Strong knife skills and working knowledge of cooking techniques
Ability to work calmly and efficiently in a small, open kitchen environment
A deep appreciation for quality ingredients and beautiful plating
Punctual, reliable, and available for early morning shifts
ServeSafe or local food handler certification preferred
