Full Job Description

This is your chance to be part of O'Connell Landscape family. We have been servicing Souther California since 1971. We are a big company with a small company feel.

As an Account Manager you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of landscape maintenance contracts, maximizing customer satisfaction, and ensuring delivery of quality services.

This job is geared for someone who goes beyond and above to satisfy a customers needs.

Primary Responsibilities

Developing long-term relationships with clients to ensure open-line of communication and exemplary customer service
Schedule landscape maintenance crews and conduct site inspections to evaluate services performed
Provide estimates for supplemental work & enhancements to improve the quality of landscape
Develop and coordinate plans for the efficient use of personnel and resources
Responding to customer requests same day and making sure they are doing correctly
Overseeing and running training meetings and safety meetings

Supervisory Responsibilities

Managing 18-20 small accounts
Ensuring the safety of all maintenance crews under supervision
Dispatch emergency calls 3 to 4 times per year
Attend board meetings and landscape committee meetings with clients
Interviewing, hiring, firing and training employees.
Developing thorough landscape reports, proposals, and punch lists

Qualifications

Must have MINIMUM 3-5 years of experience in landscape management or a customer service industry
Valid state driver's license and good driving record
Must be proficient in the use of technology (email, MS Office, iPad, iPhone)
Must have Excellent organizational, leadership, communication, and time management skills
Bi-lingual (spanish) is a big plus

Most of our new business is the result of referrals from current clients, proof that the approach envisioned by George and Michael 52 years ago has been successful in creating satisfying, long-lasting relationships.
