Job Summary
Join our dynamic team as a Server/Dishwasher, where you’ll play a vital role in delivering exceptional food service and maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment. This energetic position offers the opportunity to contribute to a vibrant dining experience, supporting both culinary operations and customer satisfaction. You will be responsible for efficiently serving meals, assisting with food preparation, and ensuring all dishware and kitchen areas are spotless and sanitized. Your positive attitude and attention to detail will help create a warm atmosphere for residents, patients, or guests while upholding the highest standards of food safety and sanitation.

Schedule

Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays - Hours vary FT and PT.

Duties

Serve meals to residents or guests with friendly professionalism, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
Assist in food preparation and plating under the guidance of culinary staff to support meal service.
Clear tables, bus dishes, and maintain cleanliness in dining areas to promote sanitation standards.
Wash dishes, pots, pans, and kitchen utensils thoroughly using proper food handling and sanitation procedures.
Support the dietary department by helping with meal assembly, portioning, and basic food handling tasks.
Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment, counters, and storage areas through regular cleaning routines.
Follow all food safety protocols, including proper sanitation practices and safe food handling procedures.

Requirements

Previous experience in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, hospitals, or the food industry is highly preferred.
Knowledge of food production processes, meal preparation, and serving techniques.
Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy service periods.
Familiarity with dietary department operations and food safety regulations.
Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
Basic understanding of kitchen equipment use and sanitation standards.
