Residential Sales Representative

Foothill Fire Protection, Inc. –

Foothill Fire Protection, Inc. is a highly motivated, relentlessly dedicated, and fluidly efficient team that is focused on providing the best fire protection products and services available with an emphasis on excellent customer service.

Position Description

We are looking to fill a Residential Sales Representative (outside sales) position for a large territory extending from the valley south of Stockton to the central coast to Santa Rosa.

Position Responsibilities:

Identify and connect with current and prospective customers for Fire Life Safety systems, including fire sprinkler and fire alarm systems through strategic outreach and follow-ups.
Close sales for installations and upgrades to meet or exceed sales plan objectives.
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers to understand their needs and tailor solutions to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
Manage the entire sales process, from uncovering opportunity, developing solution/value proposition, preparing design, creating contract, negotiating terms, closing opportunities, and providing on-going customer service.
Collaborate with internal teams to provide customized solutions and ensure seamless project delivery and competitive edge.
Prepare and deliver compelling proposals and presentations to secure new business opportunities that address customer’s fire life safety needs and highlight company strengths.
Maintain accurate and complete records of all sales-related activities.
Track sales performance against targets and adjust strategies as necessary to ensure business goals are met or exceeded.
Conduct thorough research to identify new business opportunities, market trends and industry standards to remain competitive.
Participate in networking events, trade shows, and other initiatives to expand the sales pipeline.

Position Requirements:

Minimum 3+ years of successful sales experience in Fire Life Safety sales or in a similar industry.
Familiarity with fire sprinkler systems, NFPA codes, and industry compliance standards. NICET certification is preferred.
Proven ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain technical solutions.
Proficiency in CRM software and sales pipeline management.
Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently.
Willingness to attend training to stay current with industry standards and technologies.
