Most gyms hire instructors. We hire coaches.
At Basecamp Fitco, we believe coaching changes lives.
We're a coach-led training facility that helps busy adults become stronger, healthier, and more confident through expert coaching, accountability, and genuine relationships. Our members don't come to us looking for someone to count reps—they come looking for someone who cares.
Every session is capped at 8 members so our coaches can coach every rep, maintain high standards, and create an experience that keeps people coming back.
We're looking for a Part-Time Morning Coach with a clear path to full-time for the right person. This role includes small-group coaching, personal training opportunities, assisted stretching (training provided), and optional administrative hours.
Schedule
This is primarily a morning coaching position.
You must be available to start as early as 5:00 AM, with consistent weekday morning availability preferred.
Additional afternoon, evening, weekend, personal training, stretching, and administrative hours may become available based on your availability and performance.
What You'll Do
- Coach small-group strength and conditioning sessions (maximum 8-12 members)
- Deliver safe, high-quality movement coaching with clear cues and appropriate progressions/regressions
- Build meaningful relationships with members and create an outstanding coaching experience
- Coach one-on-one and small-group personal training sessions
- Perform assisted stretching sessions (training provided)
- Help members stay accountable and celebrate their progress
- Maintain a clean, organized, professional training environment
- Continue learning and improving your coaching skills
The Coach We're Looking For
You might be a great fit if you:
- Love helping people succeed
- Believe relationships matter as much as programming

- Professional appearance and attitude
Preferred Qualifications (Not Mandatory)
- CrossFit Level 1 (or higher)
- HYROX certification
- DEKA certification

- HYROX & DEKA Affiliate
- Ongoing mentorship and continuing education
- Positive, team-first culture

Compensation

High-performing coaches have a clear path toward increased hours, greater responsibility, and full-time employment.
