Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and organized Dental Office Front Desk professional to join our vibrant high quality low stress privately owned not corporate dental practice. In this role, you will be the welcoming face of our clinic, responsible for managing patient interactions, scheduling appointments, and ensuring smooth administrative operations. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will help create a positive experience for every patient while maintaining efficient office workflows. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to be an integral part of a dedicated healthcare team committed to delivering exceptional dental care.

Responsibilities

Greet patients warmly and provide excellent customer service through friendly phone communication and in-person interactions
Schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments using dental practice management software such as Dentrix
Verify insurance coverage, process payments, and handle medical billing including Medicare and health insurance claims
Maintain accurate patient records, review documentation for completeness, and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and clinical confidentiality policies
Manage medical records while adhering to health information management standards
Support clinical staff by coordinating care plans, scheduling follow-up appointments, and managing clinic flow seamlesslyQualifications
Proven experience in a dental front desk role with strong knowledge of medical administrative support and office management practices
Familiarity with Dentrix experience with dental clinic software is highly preferred
Knowledge of clinical confidentiality policies and medical terminology essential for maintaining privacy standards
Previous clinic experience in a healthcare setting is highly desirable; familiarity with health information management practices is a plus
Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
