Full Job Description

Associate or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT), and 1+ year of Cath Lab experience. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Play a crucial role in a dynamic imaging environment, specializing in Cath Lab procedures. Bring your expertise to a team that values precision, collaboration, and outstanding patient care.

Qualifications and Experience:

Demonstrated experience in a Cath Lab imaging setting
Proficient in operating imaging equipment and monitoring patient safety throughout procedures
Comprehensive understanding of cardiac anatomy and invasive cardiovascular procedures
Registered with ARRT or RCIS (or equivalent accredited certification)
Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to respond quickly and effectively in high-stress situations

Key Responsibilities:

Assist cardiologists and medical staff during cardiac catheterization and other complex cardiovascular procedures
Prepare and position patients, ensuring comfort and proper technique
Operate advanced imaging equipment to capture high-quality diagnostic images
Maintain accurate records of procedures and patient information
Follow strict protocols for patient safety, infection control, and equipment sterilization
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver seamless patient care
Monitor and report any changes in patient status during procedures
Ensure readiness of the Cath Lab for emergency procedures as needed
