We are seeking two highly experienced, expert-level Sr. Java JSP/Servlets Developers to join our team for a long-term project in Wilmington, DE. Bringing a minimum of 12 years of professional software engineering experience, you will serve as a technical pillar, working across legacy web frameworks, modern front-end ecosystems, and robust relational database structures.
The ideal candidate possesses deep, hands-on mastery of Java enterprise web development (JSP, Servlets, Spring, Hibernate), along with solid scripting experience in Python, database optimization in Sybase, and cloud-native containerization.
Application Development: Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, enterprise-scale web applications using Java, JSP, Servlets, and the Spring Framework.
Database & Query Optimization: Write, optimize, and manage complex SQL programming structures and Sybase Stored Procedures to handle heavy data loads.
UI/UX Modernization: Support and bridge web layers spanning legacy JSP/Servlets layouts and modern front-end frameworks like React and Angular.
Cloud & DevOps Integration: Deploy and manage applications utilizing Linux operating systems, Docker containers, and Kubernetes orchestration.
Enterprise Messaging: Implement and govern asynchronous messaging architectures using enterprise MQ systems.
Data Mapping: Leverage Hibernate ORM for efficient, secure database connectivity and data transactional mapping.
Core Programming: 12+ years of Java development (Expert level) paired with professional scripting capabilities in Python.
Web Frameworks: Deep technical depth in Java Server Pages (JSP), Servlets, and the Spring Framework.
Front-End Frameworks: Practical development experience with both React and Angular.
Database Management: Strong RDBMS experience specifically with Sybase and advanced SQL programming (Stored Procedures).
ORM: Deep understanding of Hibernate for database mapping.
Cloud & Infrastructure: Hands-on experience with containerization technologies (Docker/Containers) and orchestration via Kubernetes.
Messaging & OS: Proven background working with enterprise Messaging (MQ) systems under a Linux operating system environment.
Onsite Expectation: This is a strictly 5 days per week onsite role located at our Wilmington, DE facility.
