Full Job Description

CNA/House Keeping

Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic CNA who is able to perform as a CNA in the medical office and as a housekeeper/assistant in our residence. Experience is preferred. This position is a multi-purpose role for two locations. The locations are approximately 10 minutes away from each other.

Office Duties

Basic front desk operations:
Greeting patients, scheduling patients for post operative visits, escorting patients to rooms for basic intake, exam room turn over and prep, cleaning and tidying of waiting room.
Position must be filled by a female for the sake of patients' comfort amongst and all male staff.
Document patient care, vitals and concerns accurately in electronic medical records (EMR) systems and forward information to providers.
Ability to answer incoming phones calls for a medical office, accurately gather the caller's information or direct calls to appropriate dept.
Be competent at navigating medical practice front desk responsibilities while maintaining HIPAA regulations.

Residence Duties

Perform housekeeping role for the provider.
Continue office clerical functions from the home office when needed.
Must be physically able to perform the task of a housekeeper for both locations, residence and medical office as needed.
Residential tasks include all housekeeping task, some light meal prep and management of business documents along with assisting the office manager with clerical task in home office.
Must enjoy the company of a dog and be able to participate in the care of the pet.

Skills
The ideal candidate should possess the following skills:

Experience with EMR/EHR systems such as E-clinicals ,Google drive, Google Calendar, and Google docs, excel spreadsheet and multi phone lines, proficient in typing and accurate documentation.
Proficient in English both written and spoken with a pleasant demeanor, conducive to medical care. Must be good at following detailed instructions and self-motivated.
Knowledge of medical terminology and HIPAA regulations for part time office staff role.
Candidate should enjoy being active in cleaning and assisting with household chores, pet sitting and household management. Must maintain standards of efficiency through communication.
Ideal candidate should have a willingness and desire to serve and provide support in either location.
Ideal candidate would also have experience in housekeeping, personal assisting, and patient tech.
Candidate is reliable, prompt, eager and supportive of all operations.
Strong communication skills for interacting with patients and healthcare teams.
Understanding of bloodborne pathogens and medical office intake equipment along with infection control practices/medical waste management.
Ideal candidate is able to pass drug screening with no criminal history or conduct issues and love of manual labor.
