Full Job Description

**Overview**

We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Dental Receptionist to join our team. The successful candidate will provide exceptional patient care and support the smooth operation of our dental clinic. This role is ideal for someone who is enthusiastic about the dental field and has a passion for delivering outstanding customer service.

**Responsibilities**

- Greet patients and provide a warm and welcoming environment

- Manage patient records, including scheduling appointments and updating patient information

- Conduct insurance verification

- Utilize computerized systems, open dental ( preferred but will train) to process patient information and manage scheduling

- Answer phone calls and respond to patient inquiries in a professional and courteous manner

- Handle patient inquiries and concerns with empathy and a solution-focused approach

- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure seamless communication and service delivery

- Perform other duties as required to support the dental clinic

**Qualifications**

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Experience working in a dental clinic

- Excellent customer service and communication skills

- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

- Proficiency in computerized systems

- Experience with insurance verification

- Strong organizational and time management skills

- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines

- Friendly and professional demeanor
