Work 2 Days Per Week | No Weekends | No Holidays | Flexible Weekday Schedule | Established Outpatient Psychiatry Practice

Join Our Team

Our established outpatient psychiatry practice is seeking a compassionate and experienced Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) or Physician Assistant (PA) with prior psychiatric experience to join our team on a part-time basis.

This position is ideal for an experienced clinician seeking a flexible weekday schedule while providing high-quality outpatient psychiatric medication management in a collaborative, patient-centered environment.

Position Highlights

Part-time position consisting of two 8-hour clinic days per week
Opportunity to transition to a full-time position if desired but not required
No weekends
No holidays
Flexible weekday scheduling, Monday-Thursday.
Competitive compensation based on experience
Established patient base
Collaborative, supportive practice environment
Modern electronic health record system
Professional autonomy with physician collaboration as needed

Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive psychiatric evaluations for children, adolescents, and adults
Diagnose and treat a broad spectrum of psychiatric disorders across the lifespan
Provide evidence-based psychiatric medication management
Develop individualized treatment plans
Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, medications, and treatment recommendations
Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant electronic health record documentation
Collaborate with therapists, primary care providers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated, high-quality patient care

Qualifications

Current, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license
PMHNP certification required for Nurse Practitioner applicants
Previous psychiatric experience required for Physician Assistant applicants
Current DEA registration (or ability to obtain prior to employment)
Excellent clinical judgment, communication, and interpersonal skills
Commitment to providing compassionate, evidence-based psychiatric care
