Full Job Description

Job Summary

Mosaic Family Services is seeking an experienced Program Manager who will oversee and supervise the day-to-day case management operations and provide support to our case management team working with survivors of domestic violence and human trafficking. Case management services include crisis intervention, safety planning, information and referral, system navigation and advocacy, interpretation/translation, transportation, and other support services for survivors. This position will also work collaboratively with our shelter, housing, legal, counseling, and development, and community partners to ensure a holistic approach and best outcomes for our clients. The ideal candidate will be a leader, innovative, and a team player.

This position is expected to be in-person and on-site at our main office locations during work hours with a limited hybrid remote work schedule.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

Supervisory Responsibilities

Supervises and supports all program staff, interns, and volunteers, including conducting recruitment, hiring, training and professional development, and staff evaluations.
Facilitates weekly staff meetings and ongoing 1-1 supervision to support staff and program.
Conducts consistent observation and provision of feedback to ensure that staff deliver trauma-informed, survivor-centered, culturally responsive services in a manner that reflects Mosaic’s mission, core values, and approaches.
Documents and responds appropriately to any performance and disciplinary issues, feedback, and actions with staff; working collaboratively with staff for growth and improvement to meet and/or exceed standards and expectations.

Program Management Responsibilities

Day-to-day oversight and/or support of program operations, services, activities, budgets, and grants.
Continuously updates, creates, implements, and maintains program policies and procedures, documents, and forms in accordance with agency and grant requirements, program goals and objectives, and best practices (e.g. VAWA Confidentiality, SOPs, intake forms, assessment tools, resources, etc.)
Monitors programs, documentation, record-keeping, and data for quality, accuracy, evaluation, and compliance with requirements by agency, funders, and city, state, and federal regulations.
Prepares, reviews, and submits data for monthly reports and grant applications.
Responds to and addresses questions, problems, or grievances raised by participants or other programs and departments.

Collaboration and Outreach Responsibilities

Collaborates with the Victim Services leadership team in support of cohesion and alignment of program policies and procedures, evaluation, resources, outreach and partnerships, and grant compliance.
Builds, strengthens, and maintains effective partnerships and collaboration with relevant stakeholders, community partners and organizations, and underserved communities.
Coordinates and represents Mosaic at relevant coalitions and meetings to ensure consistent attendance, engagement, and information sharing.
Coordinates and conducts community engagement, outreach, education, and training with underserved communities, general public, and professionals; prepare appropriate materials and brochures.
Procures, organizes, and disseminates resources and in-kind donations to Case Management, Victim Services, and/or other Mosaic programs as appropriate.

Direct Services

Provides direct crisis intervention services to support staff and program capacity, targets, and goals, including hotlines, walk-ins, and/or complex cases (e.g. high lethality or safety concerns, mental health and/or substance abuse issues, etc.).
Provides limited ongoing case management as needed (e.g. survivors with high barriers and/or challenges working with other Case Managers, survivors that share similar language and culture).
Coordinates program referral processes and provides direct support for on-call schedule and initial screening and communication with survivors seeking services as needed.

Other Responsibilities

Participates in ongoing supervision, evaluation, and feedback with Supervisor.
Maintains and utilizes updated professional knowledge and development of family violence, human trafficking, community resources, trauma-informed care, and other related topics (e.g. attend trainings and conferences).
Other duties as appropriate and assigned by Supervisor or their designee.

Qualifications and Skills

Required

Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related field required.
2+ years of experience in demonstrated leadership in nonprofit leadership, program management, and supervision.
Ability to motivate, lead, supervise, and evaluate staff.
Ability to effectively work and communicate (oral and written) with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
Ability to provide and receive feedback and respond in a constructive, supportive manner.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
Strong case management skills, including assessment, intervention, and advocacy.
Strong organization and time management skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced and changing environment.
Strong writing and public speaking skills.
Knowledge and experience working with survivors of family violence, human trafficking, abuse, trauma, and other related issues.
Knowledge and experience in handling crisis situations using sound professional judgment, ethical practice, and common sense.
Proficiency in technology skills, including Microsoft Office and Adobe.
Valid Driver’s License, car insurance, and reliable transportation.

Preferred

Master’s degree in Social Work
Licensed Social Worker (LCSW, LMSW, LMSW-AP, or LBSW)
Bilingual in English and other language
Knowledge and experience with local community resources and organizations.
